Eraser vs Yöjalka

Eraser vs Yöjalka (EvsY) was an electronic music duo from Helsinki, known for its contribution to the Suomisoundi style. The group was formed by Julius "Eraser" Lehmuskallio and Simo "Yöjalka" Ojala.

The project stemmed from the duo's shared passion for music, with backgrounds in piano, cello, guitar, and singing, alongside an interest in metal, electronic music, and rap. Their journey into electronic production began in 1993 when they discovered Goa trance.

By the early 2010s, the group's activity slowed down following Ojala’s multiple sclerosis (MS) diagnosis. Since then, Lehmuskallio has occasionally kept the project alive through live performances.

Over the years, EvsY played in Finland, Russia, the USA, Japan, Ukraine, and Israel, as well as in Sweden, England, Belgium, Lithuania, and Turkey.
